Start the summer holidays in sporting style

Whether you’re sporty or enjoy fresh air and taking part in games, the Foundry Lane multisports week is sure to be a great way to kick start the summer holidays.

Beginning on June 30 for boys and girls aged 8 to 15 years, the five-day summer scheme offers a good range of fun-based games and sporting activities.

Multisports activities include football, rugby, hockey and cricket, as well as other games.

The council’s summer schemes are supervised by trained staff and volunteers. The Foundry Lane week runs until July 4 from 10 am to noon and costs £20 per child.

Places are limited, so don’t miss your chance to register. Application forms can be downloaded from Newtownabbey Council’s website or picked up at Sixmile Leisure Centre.
