St Columba's halt St Clare's title bid

St Clare's 25 (1) St Columba's 34 (6)

St Columba’s stunned St Clare’s with a nine shots win and six points at the Glenavy venue, which could spoil the latter’s promotion bid in Section C of the Roy Kennedy Fuels Indoor Bowling League.

It was all level at the break, but wins for David Henry and Iris Scott gave St Columba’s a shock success.
