Sevens set for kick-off

Tom Simms Memorial Park will play host to 42nd Guinness Carrick Sevens this weekend.

The tournament kicks off on Friday evening (May 2) with the Samaurai Under-19s competition before Saturday’s Quigg Golden Open Competition.

Sunday’s finale features the Manvik-sponsored Qualifying League competition, and a Ladies’ 7s, sponsored by Abbey Insurance.

In addition, the Sevens will also host a Development Ladies’ tournament for girls who are new to the game.
