Seamus and Donald go through to Balmoral
THE PGA Tankards event is played to help support the Profession Golfers' Association and was played on Portstewart's Riverside Course on Saturday.
It was won by Seamus Harkin who, in spite of his recent handicap trimming, returned a massive 44 points, two clear of Donald Kenny on 42. Seamus loses two further shots as he drops to 13. Donald also will be two shots leaner in handicap.
Seamus and Donald will now represent Portstewart at a pro-am event at Balmoral Golf Club in October.
