Commenting at the opening of his new venture, Andrew Morris said: "Today's store opening has been some 20 years in the making and is the result of a lot of hard work by all those concerned with the business – I am delighted with the way things have turned out. Owning and managing my own golf store is something that I have been working towards for some time now and I believe that the timing is right for me to open 'Andrew Morris Golf'.

Andrew continued: "Having Darren Clarke officially open the store was the icing on the cake and I know everyone got a real buzz watching him take his golf clinic at the range – he was fantastic with everyone who turned up and was more than happy to take their questions. I hope this encourages more people to take up the game and that I can help make their golfing experiences that bit more pleasurable. Golf has given me a lot both professionally and personally and I hope that my new store gives me the opportunity to meet new people and you never know my next customer might just be the one to follow the likes of Darren, Rory and Graeme and represent Northern Ireland at the Ryder Cup."
