Paddy enjoys superb success in old bird race

The old bird 5 Bird Championship race was flown from Fermoy on Saturday, with just over 2,000 NIPA birds released.

The big early arrival locally was in Ahoghill for Paddy McManus timing his 3 year old Cheq w/f cock at 17.15hrs recording velocity 1371 for the 199 miles to The Croft Lofts in Ahoghill.

Paddy was best in Cullybackey Centre by several minutes, 1st MAC, 1st Sect B and a good 5th Open NIPA.
