North v South Karate Championships

They came away from the Championships with four second Individual places in Kumite/Sparring, three second places in Individual Kata/Form and one third place in Kata/Form. The boy’s team also finished second in the Team Kumite/Sparring.

Chief Coach Dan Redmond said he was delighted with their performance – pointing out that this was their first ever competition outside of their own Chujo Karate Association. Dan explained that the CKA two year plan of local club competition had started to show good results. He predicts future successes.
