Locals play in Inter Zone

Four locals were involved in the Irish Bowling Association Junior Inter Zone Series in the North West on Saturday.

This meant the Lisnagarvey and Dromore matches were postponed until Tuesday night as Scott Jess and Alan Johnston were playing for the NIBA.

The Kirkwood brothers, Robert and Steven, who of course left Hilden to join Old Bleach before this season, were in the NIPGL team.

Hilden tournament starts on Monday

The Hilden Open rinks tournament will start on Monday night at 6.30pm and last for around two weeks.

Men and women can both enter, either separately or as a mixed rink.
