Larne prepare to pay the price

AS Larne prepare to pay the fines to the Irish Football Association (IFA) after the initial resolution to the Irish Cup debacle at Newry Showgrounds and still await the determination by the special commission who adjudicate on the outcome of the abandoned match, manager Paul Millar moved on Monday to get his players back on the field of action in the wake of those two defeats by Carrick Rangers.

In a nutshell, here's what punishments emerged for Larne from last Thursday's disciplinary meeting:

- Manager Paul Millar was suspended for four matches

- Anto Lagan was banned until the end of May

- Robbie White and Brian Neeson were each suspended for two games

- In total, Larne FC had fines of 1,350 imposed

- Newry's Cullen Feeney misses two matches and City were fined 800 in total
