James best in Berlin
JAMES Hamilton from Larne Swimming Club, achieving three personal best times at the German International Disability long course gala in Berlin.
The event attracted entries from 47 nations and the Doagh lad was part of a seven-strong Irish team who competed well in their respective disability classes.
At 17, James is still a youth age group swimmer and managed to finish in the top eight in all his events. The Berlin gala was the final meet in which to achieve qualifying times for the World Disability Championships in Eindhoven in the Netherlands in August.
