Gregg and Magee tackle tough Tollymore five-mile challenge
Andy Gregg and Bryan Magee took part in the second round of the Hill and Dale Series over a five-mile course in Tollymore Forest on Thursday. Gregg finished 23rd in a time of 36:08 and Magee came home in 36:54 (34th).
The pair went again on Saturday in the Mournes for the Commedagh Chase. Magee was 17th (1:13:44), while Dale Smith completed the seven miles in 1:15:04 (22nd).

Hide AdGregg was 31st in 1:21:43, while Laura Hamill ran strongly to finish 43rd in 1:36:17. Larne AC would like to wish Laura and Dale best wishes for their wedding on Saturday and every happiness for the future.
Amy Beggs continued her ultra-marathon journey completing the 53-mile Hoka Highland Fling in a time of 13:54:58 (503rd).
At the Antrim parkrun Kirsty Sharratt notched up another first-lady finish with a time of 20:49, with Rhonda Montgomery running strongly to finish in 23:51.
At the Larne parkrun David Murphy was first finisher for the club, coming home in fourth place in a time of 20:21.

Hide AdJanine Rainey made it a double for the ladies also finishing first in a personal best time of 25:39. Robin Alexander also ran a personal best of 27:45, followed by Gabriel Rodgers, accompanying his daughter, in 27:52.
Kirsten Montgomery and Melissa Whiteside both also achieved personal bests finishing in 28:00 and 28:55 respecitvely.
Geraldine Hastings was next home in 30:02, followed by Irene Beattie in 31:07. Richard Vassey crossed the line in 41:01. Mel Priest and Davy Henderson completed the course in 56:35.
Heather Baxter was first home for Larne AC at Ballynahinch 10k, breaking the 50-minute barrier in 49:41. Jim Evans ran well to finish in 53:09. Colin Baxter, making his 10k debut, also ran strongly to finish in 66:13.

Hide AdAt Easter Monday’s five-mile race in Whitehead, Kirsty Sharratt was chased to the line by Patricia Blair who finished as fourth lady (33:21). Nigel Kane was first club male in 13th overall (29:47).
