Garvey lads dominate Ulster squads for Inter-pros in Dublin

Lisnagarvey Hockey Club will be strongly represented at the Introprovincial Series taking place at Three Rock Rovers from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 November.

As many as 15 Lisnagarvey Hockey Club lads have been named in the Ulster U16 and U18 squads to take on the pick of teenage hockey stars from across Ireland.

Ten of those have all been called up to the U18 squad.

Those lads are James Milliken, Fraser Carnduff, Mark McNellis, Ryan Getty, Jonny Beckett, Scott McCabe, Sean Murray, Aaron Martin, Andrew O’Hare and Matthew Nelson.

Craig Getty, Jacob Hermon, Patrick Hunter, Sam McMurray and Specer Pinion will all take to the pitch for Ulster U16s.

The U18s will begin by taking on Leinster on the Friday at 7pm before playing Munster on Saturday at 12 noon. Ulster will complete their campaign against Munster on Sunday at 11am.

The U16s will play Leinster on Friday at 5pm before playing Munster on Saturday at 10am and again on Sunday at 9am.
