Waveney beaten by Larne Youth

WAVENEY Youth went down 3-1 to Larne Youth on Saturday, in the first of their three plate cup fixtures.

The Ballymena side took the lead just before half time when Kyle Jackson ran on to a through ball to finish well.

Larne applied a lot of pressure in the second half, leading to an equaliser, and although Waveney battled hard, Larne struck twice in as many minutes inside the final five minutes to wrap the points up.
