SML: McNeill hat-trick maintains Homers’ record
The former Ballymena United striker – last season’s leading goalscorer in the top flight – fired a hat-trick to dig Homers out of a hole after they had trailed Ahoghill Rovers 2-1.
Homers will realise they can’t afford to drop points if they are to put together a genuine title challenge, particularly as rivals Carniny Rangers and All Saints Old Boys continue to win.
