Milk Cup preparations continue
The Co Armagh Premier side lost their first game against Co. Down 2-1, an Adam Metcalfe penalty equalised an early Down goal while Down were awarded a late penalty to win the game .
In their second game against Linfield Metcalfe again scored two penalties either side of a six yard finish from Kevin McAlinden’s cross to complete his hat-trick .

Hide AdThe Juniors were leading 2-1 against North Dublin when the game was finished prematurely due to an injury to a Dublin player.
In their second game a sluggish start left them trailing 4-0 to Club NI And Mark Lucas pulled one back in the second half to leave the final score 4-1.
“It was a good work-out for the teams,” said Dean McCullough, chairman of the Co Armagh Milk Cup Association.
“We will continue with more game time this weekend as we look ahead to the Milk Cup.”

Hide AdThe Juniors will face County Tyrone, Right to Dream Ghana and Swindon Town while the Premier wiil play Real Sociedad, Alset Colombia and Otago New Zealand.
“The Junior side seem to have the toughest challenge. The team from Ghana recently beat Arsenal 4-0.
“I think the Premier side have a chance to do something.”
The Milk Cup starts on July 27.
