McEleney struggling with knee injury

DERRY City manager Peter Hutton confirmed that Patrick McEleney is his only injury concern, as they set off for tomorrow night’s league clash at Cork City.

The talented midfielder is struggling with a knee problem, which saw him miss last week’s game with Shamrock Rovers, but Hutton, who is managing his home town club for the first time, admits he will leave it right up until the last minute before selecting his team.

City are also without Rory Patterson because of suspension and Enda Curran is also struggling, but Shane McEleney is likely to be involved in the squad.
