Ladies football team on the look out for new gifted players

Foyle Belles FC, who are a club exclusively for girls based in the city and are Doncaster Rover Belles of the newly formed FAWSL’s (FA Women’s Super League) official feeding team in the whole of Ireland, are looking for new talent.

Football is beginning to become the most popular sport for females around the world and the amount of girls playing football in the country every year is rising faster than in any other sport.

Girls training sessions, which takes place at Brandywell Sports Centre on Wednesday nights and all training sessions are indoor.

Training for 7 to 11-year-olds start from 4.45pm until 6.15pm.

The 11-13-year-olds training takes place every Thursday night from 5.30pm to 7pm at the Brandywell Sports Centre.

Training for the 14-year-olds to ladies squads takes place every Thursday night at the Brandywell Sports Centre from 6pm to 7.45pm.

There is also a session at the Brandywell Showgrounds (outdoor) every Sunday from 1.45pm to 3.30pm.
