Kincaid’s back in the dugout

Distillery boss Tommy Kincaid is edging himself back into full control of the team after his recent health scare.

Kincaid was in the dug-out for last week’s defeat to Institute and says he will pick the team for tomorrow (Saturday)’s trip to face Dundela (kick-off 3pm).

“I had more of an input last Saturday but I’ll be picking the team from now on. I’m back in full flow in that respect,” he said.

“I probably got involved too much last week but I can’t help it.

“I’m still not 100% but I just want to get back in. If it’s in you, it’s in you. It’s what I do and I can’t help myself. I just want to do well for the team and do well for the club.

“I’m under no pressure from the club to start running about and getting involved again but I can’t help coming back. Andy Harwood’s suspended on Saturday so I’ll be back in the dugout again and I’ll be firing on as many cylinders as possible.

“I’ve been down to training on Tuesday and Thursday this week but I really need to take things easy.”

To ensure he does just that on Saturday afternoon, Dundela may have to install seatbelts in the dugout at Wilgar Park.
