Kearney pays tribute to Johnny Watt

Kearney said Watt was a ‘consummate professional’ and wished him well with the rest of his career.

“I can’t speak highly enough about Johnny Watt,” he said.

“He has given his all for his home town club for the past 11 years, and he is held in such high regard by everyone at The Showgrounds.

“Johnny is a consummate professional for the way he goes about his business on and off the pitch, and has been a real leader and inspiration particularly for the young players around this club.

“He is Coleraine through and through, a real club man, and I know how much it meant to him to play for the club.

“On behalf of everyone at Coleraine FC I would like to wish him well for the rest of his career.”
