The Allen Park men kicked off their intermediate division campaign with a 5-0 win over newcomers Sofia Farmer at Allen Park.

This was a game Jamie Willigan will remember having scored four goals but one Craig McDowell will want to forget as he suffered a suspected broken leg on the 82nd minute and had to be taken to hospital. The Corner raced into a three goal lead with Jamie Willigan scoring on the 3rd, 5th and 10th minutes and at half-time this scoreline remained. Jason Martin made it four nil for the Corner on the 71st minute before Jamie Willigan scored his fourth on the 78th minute. After this came the injury and with a time delay in an Ambulance arriving both teams requested the referee to blow the final whistle.
