Ballymacash YM III 5 10TH Old Boys 1

Ballymacash YM III kept pace with Victoria Athletic in the battle for the South Antrim League Division 2 title following this 5-1 win over 10th Old Boys.

Star of the show was Simon ‘Zico’ Hull, who not only hit a hat-trick but scored a stunning goal which lived up to his nickname of Zico.

Hull had already weighed in with the third and fourth goals when he came up trumps with the fifth - a bicycle kick effort into the top corner of the net. Anyone with a camera catch it for the “goal of the Year Award”?

Andrew Jackson had opened the scoring for Ballymacash and Ian Clements added the second as they dominated the first-half.

‘Cash went strangely quiet after the break and 10th Old Boys, to their credit kept battling away before being rewarded with a consolation goal from Daniel Reid.

Man of the Match, need you ask, Simon Hull with a hat-trick and a wonder goal.
