Goal hero Adam delighted to reach Steel final

LARNE’S two-goal hero Adam Dick has described reaching the final of the Steel and Sons Cup as an ‘unbelievable feeling’.

The Reds centre-forward opened the scoring from the spot in the 2-1 win over Amateur League side Dunmurry Rec at Seaview on Monday evening before netting the winner with a superb diving header in the second-half.

“I really can’t ask for anything more,” the 23-year-old told the Times after the final whistle. “We did it the hard way again tonight but we got there in the end so we have something to look forward to at Christmas.”
