FOOTBALL: Carrick College pupil Beth Chalmers represents NI Under-16s
Carrickfergus College Year 9 pupil Beth Chalmers represented Northern Ireland's Under-16 development squad during the recent Bob Doherty tournament in Wales (April 1-4).
The team won one of their three games and lost the other two. But despite the slight disappointment at the results, Beth had a great time in Wales with her parents and enjoyed the experience.
“It was a great honour and opportunity for Beth to take part in this tournament and Alfie Wylie, National Women’s Coach, thanked the school for its support,” a College spokesperson said.
