Victory against Ballyoran by an emphatic 6-0 margin left Gary Duke’s players as Marshall Cup winners for a third successive season. It also wrapped up a Mid-Ulster trophy treble to sit alongside the Premier Cup and Mid-Ulster Intermediate League Section A honours inside Planters Park.

“Aaron Duke scored three against Ballyoran, with two for Colin Cunningham and Adam Walker also getting a goal,” said Duke, the Dollingstown boss. “We set our targets at the start, with one to go as far as possible in the Bob Radcliffe Cup and another to win our title and secure another Irish League play-off.

“We were one moment away from winning the Bob Radcliffe Cup final so can take great pride in that performance, plus we won the league.

“The Marshall Cup has always been a special competition so means a lot, especially alongside the Premier.

“The players deserve a lot of credit for working so hard across all competitions.”
