Emma selected in Ulster squad
The 14 year old from Waringstown will make her debut next week in an inter-provincial tournament at Cashel.
A pupil at Wallace High School, Lisburn, she started playing tennis at Lurgan when she was nine years old and quickly became a member of the under 14 performance squad under the direction of coach Alex Iliev.

Hide AdIn the last year she qualified for and attended both the Winter and Spring National Matchplays.
Success has come her way and she won the under 14 girls singles title at Sligo and the under 14 doubles at the Ulster Open at Belfast Boat Club.
As well she was runner-up in the under 14 singles Dunedin at Lurgan and runner-up in the under 14 doubles at the County Antrim Championships at Larne.
She was also runner-up in the under 14 doubles at Belfast Junior Hardcourt Championships at CIYMS club, Belfast .
Emma is just another in the long line of Lurgan players to gain representative honours.
