Eglinton and District Darts League round-up

THERE were no fixtures in the Eglinton and District Darts League last Thursday night due to the Premier League Darts in Odyssey Arena in Belfast.

Tomorrow’s (Thursday) fixtures is the 7 player team cup and the fixtures are as follows: Venue Eglinton Cricket Club - Rising Sun B vs Riverside Bar A and the winners play Riverside Bar B; Venue: Gort Na Drum - Rising Sun A vs Longfield B and the winners play Longfield A; Venue: Rising Sun - Eglinton Cricket Club vs Macons and the winners play Gort Na Drum; Venue: Longfield - Donaghys vs Longfield C.

In the above fixtures the captain of each team will pick his/her team in the order of their choice then put them onto a scoresheet with opposing captain.

Each game will start with a coin toss to decide who will throw first or second for bullseye in each match. The first team to reach four points will win each match and the one winning team overall on the night will progress from each venue to the semi-finals and final in Macons Bar, Claudy on Thursday, March 10.

The next monthly darts meeting is on Monday 21st March in Donaghys at 8.30pm sharp and all bars must have at least one representative in attendance.

Last Saturday night’s lottery bonus ball winners was the Longfield Inn with number 43
