Dromore’s B team are having a fantastic season

It is a similar situation at Dromore, as at Lisnagarvey, with the B team stealing the thunder.

Dromore B topped NIBA Division 5 but had no match on July 5 and now have a match in hand. If they get five points in it they go top. They are having a really good season.

That is not to say that the A team are not doing well as they are again competing to move out of NIBA Division 2.

But, they may well have to settle for third place with Lurgan and Carrick looking like top two finishers at present, though Dromore beat Carrick to open up the race, but then lost at Sydenham.

Not happy days at Finaghy and Valley

Finaghy are struggling in NIBA Division 4, both on the green and with numbers off the green.

Still, their current form suggests they can survive the drop for yet another season.

Lagan Valley are rock bottom of Division 5 after their worst start for years, but hopefully they can improve after the July break. They did pick up in recent weeks, but lost their final match before the break.
