What a busy week racing for Dunloy Cycling Club and a very successful one for A4 rider Adrian McGregor.

The club held their own club race on Thursday night around the Knockahollet circuit on a damp and dirty night.

Adrian made the breakaway on the third lap and managed to hold on to claim first place ahead of Jonathan Dooey in second place and Shay Donley of Ballymoney Cycling Club finishing third.

Well done lads on a tough night.

Sunday saw Dunloy holding their own open race for the second year.

Their own Philip McGuigan was just pipped at the post by Barry McKenna of West Tyrone to get second place. Fantastic race Philip, good to see you getting back on track.

The A4 race was won by Gerard Craig but it was in this race Adrian claimed more points.

After getting dropped he fought hard and managed to pull back onto the group and managed to finish in 4th place.

Brilliant ride Adrian, this racing is proving successful for you, keep up the good work.

The event proved a great success with plenty of riders involved and treated to a hearty spread afterwards.

Thanks to all the club who made it happen by getting behind the event and pulling out all the stops to marshall the event.

All the help is greatly appreciated.
