Jamie said: “The group format of the Jubilee Cup makes it quite unique and exciting within local darts, but it’s also the great charity work and fundraising the event creates that makes this a day everyone should support.

“This year we are collecting for Merryn Lacy.

“Merryn is a 4 year old girl from Dublin who has the rare cancer Neuroblastoma and all proceeds go directly to her foundation.

“It has been so great to see so many dart throwers from all sides of the local community and further afield supporting our day, and with our raffle and auction of a signed Phil Taylor shirt we hope to raise as much as possible for such a worthy cause.

“I’d encourage everyone to view Merryns website www.merrynlacy.com”

Jamie continued: “There are so many people that deserve thanks for this day happening, and recognition of anyone who has donated prizes or help of any kind can be found on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/institutedarts or on the jubilee cup events page www.facebook.com/events/1493845714168666/)

“The one group of people that this event would not be possible without is our very kind sponsors and we would like to thank them all for making it all possible.”
