Barn Runners athlete O’Hagan puts in strong display in Donegal

Barn Runners athlete Jonathan O’Hagan achieved an impressive first-place finish in the sprint challenge category at the Coastal Cancer Challenge in Dunfanaghy, County Donegal on Saturday (July 19).

Jonathan was first to cross the finish line in 2:43:15, while fellow Barn Runner, Colin Porter, also produced a stunning performance to claim sixth place. He crossed the finish line in 3:07:53.

The event was an ultimate challenge consisting of a total of 67km, incorporating a 12k Run, 52k Cycle (7k off-road) and a 3k Mountain Climb.

Friends and family went along to the event as support and enjoyed some of the stunning scenery the location has to offer.

Also at the weekend, Barn Runners’ Stuart and Emma Maxwell took part in their first race at the annual Glenarm 10k.

The pair completed the course in a time of 1:15.
