The final year Sport, Exercise and Leisure student at Jordanstown got the award for the most outstanding sports person in Jordanstown and Belfast after most recently securing her place in the Commonwealth Games and the European Championships and equalling the Irish 100m record all in one fell swoop.

The City of Lisburn club member also holds the 100m and 200m Northern Irish records, not to mention her fifth place finish at the World University Games in Russia last summer.

Now the Lisburn girl is in the thick of her preparations for the Commonwealth Games, the athletics beginning on Sunday 27 July.
