Winter growing under cover
Come along to a practical course in Cloughmills this Saturday to learn a little more about how and what you can grow under cover in the winter months.
Winter shouldn’t stop you growing your own vegetables and you will learn by doing as well as receiving hand outs to take away. The course will cover - Site selection, Soil fertility, Watering and irrigation systems, Ventilation, Planning your growing areas, Rotation, Salads and herbs all year round, Early planting/early crops, Natural pest and disease control in a tunnel.
