Village timepiece back in action
The old saying goes, ‘It’s better late than never’, though in the case of the clocktower in Waringstown, time certainly wasn’t of the essence.
The village clock, which had been stopped for a year, finally got started again at the end of July. However, as it stands only one side of the clock is up and running.
