Update: '˜Elaborate hoax' at Cambridge Avenue
Local residents have returned to their homes.
Ballymena councillor John Carson, who was at the scene, said he had been told the incident had been the result of an ‘elaborate hoax.’
Cambridge Avenue had been closed to traffic. It is understood the device was found near a postbox.
