Unemployment continues to fall
The claimant count for Carrickfergus continues to decrease, according to latest figures from the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency.
June’s jobless tally for the borough stood at 907, a decrease of 50 on the previous month. Of these, 619 were male and 288 female.
This represents a change of 234 over the year.
