New acute serviceschief to take overat the end of July

Geraldine is married to Brian and has four children.

She lives in Magherafelt but is originally from Newtownstewart and has worked in the Health Service for over 30 years.

She has worked in a variety of nursing and senior management posts before being appointed as Assistant Director for Surgery and Anaesthetics with the Western Trust in 2011.

She said: “I am delighted to be taking up this new role within Acute Services Directorate and look forward to the challenge of continuing to provide a high quality service to the people in the Western Trust area.”

Geraldine will be based at Trust Headquarters on the Altnagelvin Hospital Site.

Her official title is Interim Director of Acute Services.
