Dobson sympathy after tragedy

In a statement, Mrs Dobson said she was “deeply saddened” to hear of the tragedy and had visited the teenager’s family at their home in Blackskull.

“My thoughts go out to the family and friends of this young boy and I send my deepest sympathies to them at this difficult time,” she said.

“The community of Donacloney is numbed by this incident and everyone is shocked to hear what happened on Friday night. Rural roads can be a danger and I would appeal for people to take extra care and look out for pedestrians when travelling at night.”
