Tracy has the X-Factor as face of bank campaign

A CARRICK woman is experiencing her first taste of stardom courtesy of the TV screen.

Tracy Morris has already attracted autograph hunters after being selected to appear in a new advertising campaign for her employer, Northern Bank.

The Whitehead branch manager was selected for the new “straightforward” television adverts. She also appears in posters in banks across the province

Tracy says the reaction from customers, family and friends has been overwhelming.

“The TV advert first aired during X Factor and my phone didn’t stop ringing all weekend. The first customer through the door on Monday morning was waiting to ask for my autograph!” she said.

“I couldn’t quite believe I’d been chosen to represent Northern Bank but the whole experience has been really exciting and I’ve loved every minute of it.”

Northern Bank’s Head of Communications Rosamond Bennett says that Tracy is a great example of a manager who brings expertise and energy to her local community.

She explained: “With such a skilled and enthusiastic team of branch managers across our network, it made sense for a member of that team to show that Northern Bank is a local bank at the heart of the community with local decision making and local participation. It’s hard to beat a friendly local face but our branch managers are more than that, they’re also highly skilled professionals who can give all customers and local businesses the help and advice they need and expect from their local bank. And our customers like this personal, local approach - our customer satisfaction scores across the bank are actually the highest they have ever been.

“So for Tracy this advert is not about acting but how she and her colleagues perform every day to meet the needs and expectations of our customers.”
