Tractor stolen in Hillsborough

Thieves stole a tractor from a yard in Hillsborough and then loaded it onto some other form of transport sometime in the last few days.

Police in Lisburn who are appealing for information believe that the theft took place at the Kilwarlin Road sometime on the night of Monday March 3.

It was reported to them that sometime between 11.45pm on Monday night and 1am on Tuesday morning, the blue coloured Ford 5640 tractor was removed from a yard in the area.

It is believed the tractor was driven a short distance before being loaded onto some other form of transport.

Police would appeal to anyone who witnessed the theft or anyone who saw any vehicles travelling on the Kilwarlin Road late on Monday night or early on Tuesday morning to contact them.
