Time for local schools to enter Best Kept awards

SCHOOLS in Ballymoney and across North Antrim are being called upon to enter the 2010 SuperValu Best Kept School Awards to earn recognition for their environmental projects.

The organisers of the prestigious environmental awards scheme, the Northern Ireland Amenity Council (NIAC) and sponsors SuperValu, are encouraging local schools to enter the awards by the closing date of Friday March 5.

Over 200 schools entered the awards in 2009 and Jones Memorial Primary School, Enniskillen took the ‘Best of the Best’ title. Ballymoney Nursery School and Dunseverick Primary School won awards last year.
