Thompson ‘slightly disappointed’

GLENS Sinn Fein councillor Colum Thompson said he was “slightly disappointed” he was not consulted ahead of Moyle Council Chairperson, Ulster Unionist Sandra Hunter, taking a delegation of farmers from the Glens to Stormont following the recent heavy snowfalls.

Speaking at a meeting of Moyle Council in Ballycastle, Cllr Thompson said the support from the Chairperson for farmers in the Glens was “admirable” but he wanted to know how the farmers in attendance were selected as he claimed a number of farmers were disappointed.

Cllr Hunter said Glens-based East Antrim MLA Oliver McMullan had been notified.
