Teen was assaulted outside local bar

A 17-year-old male was left with a broken jaw following an assault outside a bar on the Stewartstown Road in the early hours of Sunday, March 8.

At around 1am, the teenager was assaulted by a man as he stood outside licensed premises.

The man was described as being around 26-years-old, 6’ tall with short dirty fair hair, was was well built and wearing a red Berghaus jacket with a grey top, dark denim jeans and white Adidas shoes.

Investigating officer, Constable Mark Donaldson, is appealing for witnesses to contact Lisburn PSNI. You can also ring Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
