Teen arrested after school burglary
A teenager was arrested and a quantity of electronic gear recovered following an early morning burglary at a primary school in Londonderry.
Police investigating the burglary in Ballymagroarty in the early hours of Monday, May 16, arrested a 16-year-old male youth.
Inspector Jonathan Hunter said: “Officers received a report of an ongoing incident at the school at around 4am and attended the scene. The young male was located and arrested on the premises.
“A quantity of electronic equipment was recovered by police at the scene. The youth is currently in custody assisting officers with enquiries.”
