Take Me Out star Kerry weds her true love

The ITV hit dating show Take Me Out throws up a lot more failures than successes as it attempts to match up couples in front of millions of Saturday night television views.

But for one Lisburn woman the show hosted by Paddy McGuinness has proven to be her fairytale path to true love.

Kerry Beacom (27) married her Take Me Out’ co-star Greig Senior at The Clandeboye Lodge Hotel over the Easter weekend.

The couple found love at the series three party after being mismatched with fellow love rivals.

Kerry said, “I never in a million years thought I’d find my husband by going on Take Me Out but it was like a modern day fairytale, we just clicked at the after party and we’re been together ever since.

“It was lucky our love matches didn’t work out, we’ll have to thank Paddy for that one!”

The couple had their entire wedding at the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel this weekend, tying the know in the 19th century Blackwood Suite with arched timber beams, stone walls and gothic windows.

Speaking to the Star last year, after her engagement was confirmed, Kerry recalled the moment she met Greig at an after-show party.

“We met in the kitchen and I just thought he was gorgeous and for me, it was really love at first sight,” she said.

Before long the couple were moving into together, although Greig’s wedding proposals wasn’t without drama as Kerry lost her ring when the pair were out diving.

The pair spent hours trying to find the ring tand finally they gave up trying to find it.

“We thought there are worse things that could happen - as long as we have each other,” said Kerry. “Greig tells me every day how much he loves me and that is enough.”

She could only speak glowingly of the show and its host: “The show is very tongue and cheek but good fun. Paddy McGuinness is the lovliest man.

“Filming lasts for five and a half hours and he is so energetic and lovely always asking how you are.
