Superheroic fundraising effort raised £500 for the Children’s Hospice

A SPECIAL ‘superhero challenge’ collection at Templemore Sports Complex on the Buncrana Road during the recent Children’s Hospice Week has raised more than £500 for the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.

The Complex’s ‘superheroic’ efforts - through a collection at the Complex’s Reception area - raised a grand total of £503, the amount of money needed for the Children’s Hospice to provide an additional 24 hours of vital nursing care.

Accepting the donation on behalf of the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice, community fundraiser Peter McCabe said: “Templemore Sports Complex’s superheroic efforts will enable us to provide much-needed care to many local children and young people who have a life-limiting condition.
