Straid PS launches new website

STRAID Primary School has launched a new website to keep parents informed of all the going’s on in the school.

The bright and colourful page highlights all the activities going on in the school as well as acting as an important information conduit for parents.

Principal Florence Mairs told the Times: “This is good for the parents in that the school now has a more immediate form of communication to deliver important messages to parents instead of having to rely on letters sent home with the children.

“It also allows the parents, and the community, to find out a bit more about what is going on in the school.

“There is a section on each of the classes and a section for the PTA as well as news on the development of the school.

“We want to be totally accessible and, along with our fantastic ICT programmes, this website is a great compliment to the ethos and policies of Straid Primary.”
