Spice up your specs and share a selfie

There are just 10 days remaining to enter Specsavers competition, ‘Spectacle Wearer of the Year 2015’ and alongside local girl Megan Boe, former Spice Girl and Heart Radio DJ Emma Bunton is calling on all glass wearers to sign up for the competition.

Everyone can enter online at www.specsavers.co.uk/loveglasses or at the Lisburn Specsavers store in Bow Street.

Emma will present the lucky winner with their prize including the coveted Spectacle Wearer of the Year Award at a star studded event in central London this October.

There are five age categories plus a Facebook favourite voted for by the public. For each entry made £1 will be donated to the anti-bullying charity Kidscape.

Natalie Latham, store director at Specsavers in Lisburn said: “We’ve seen some brilliant local entries, but we just want to give a final shout out to people in the Lisburn area and encourage those specs wearers that haven’t already given it a go to enter.

“The competition closes on Sunday 5 July, so this really is the last chance to put your best specs forward and be in with a chance of winning a fabulous prize.”

For each entry made £1 will be donated to the anti-bullying charity Kidscape. The money raised will help to support them in providing training, support and advice for children, parents, and those who may be affected by bullying and abuse.
