Somme group set to launch three-year plan
The Ancre Somme Association, which has a branch in Lisburn, will be marking the launch of its three-year Strategic Plan at an event in Craigavon on Monday (Jan 18).
The association has been working with the Rural Community Network on a plan outlining its key strategic priorities in relation to its core work.A spokesperson said: “We welcome all, no matter their creed, colour or religion. All we ask of our membership is that they support the ongoing study and research of the historical findings derived from the events preceding, surrounding and following the Battle of the Somme and future wars and conflicts.”
