Security alert at Thiepval
Homes in the Magheralave Road area of Lisburn have been evacuated as police investigate the report of a suspicious object at Thiepval Barracks.
Police in Lisburn are attending a security alert following the discovery of a suspicious object inside the perimeter fence of Thiepval Barracks.
A section of the Magheralave Road has been closed and a number of homes in the area have been evacuated. Diversions are in place at Magheralave Park South.
Army Technical Officers have been tasked and there are no further details at this time.
