Samaritans shop reopens after revamp
The shop first opened in the late 1980s and is currently manned by around 20 volunteers.
Last year, Craigavon Samaritans decided that the interior of the shop required extensive modernisation, in the interests of both customers and staff. The work was carried out in the weeks leading up to Easter, by Custom Interiors of Cookstown.

Craigavon Samaritans would wish to thank all shop volunteers, past and present, for their many years of hard work in the shop, particularly the extra work in recent weeks.
The shop was formally reopened on April 4 by the Mayor of Craigavon, Councillor Carla Lockhart, who complimented Craigavon Samaritans on their voluntary work in the local community over many years.
The Mayor also thanked shop volunteers for their efforts in assisting the charity.
The shop is open Monday to Saturday each week.
